Training with Coach Sando - Week 7 Update
It’s been a couple of weeks since my last blog so I wanted to check in & let you know how it’s all going.

I’ll be honest, this last week has been a tough one. Work was mad busy, my laptop went bang, I am still perfecting (is that even possible?!), the Mum juggle, plus caravan living during a heatwave is NOT fun.
I love the sunshine (especially when you can sit by a pool and don’t have pressing work deadlines!) but keeping cool in a tin can with a toddler in tow was tough. Workouts took a big hit & the concentration was on surviving the week.
I got through it though and I got back to it on Saturday, while it was hard it was definitely worthwhile. Coach Sando updated my programme a couple of weeks ago & I am finding it a lot harder. Then again, I found the last programme hard at the beginning and that became easier in time so something’s obviously working!
Here are a few things I have learnt this week:
Sometimes you need to just accept it isn’t going to happen. Don’t beat yourself up, tomorrow is a new day & just because things went off track doesn’t mean you can’t get back to it. It feels extra good when you do 😉
Remember the good habits, even when things are fairly manic, try to control the things you can still control & don’t worry (!) about the things you can’t.
Having a toddler who likes to pour water in your lap when you’re least expecting it is a godsend in hot weather.
